Malaysian Ambassador honours Knaus Tabbert – KNAUS BOXDRIVE 600 impresses in Asia

Knaus Tabbert is delighted to welcome a distinguished visitor and receive a prestigious award. At this year’s dealer conference in Bad Griesbach, Lower Bavaria, HE Datin Paduka Dr Adina Kamarudin, the Malaysian Ambassador to Germany, praised the KNAUS BOXDRIVE, naming it as the most technologically advanced and luxurious campervan in Malaysia.

Knaus Tabbert Board Members Wolfgang Speck (CEO), Werner Vaterl (COO) and Gerd
Adamietzki (CSO) were delighted to take to the stage and receive this important accolade
from the Ambassador. The winner was decided during the 2024 edition of the Malaysia
Commercial Vehicle Expo, which was held in May. In the KNAUS BOXDRIVE, the judging
panel of Asian caravan industry experts saw a particularly innovative campervan, based on
the dynamic MAN TGE chassis. The winning model is also one of the bestsellers in its
segment in this part of the world.
For Knaus Tabbert, this award adds to the considerable international recognition of our
development and production performance. On receiving the award, Wolfgang Speck (CEO)
said: “For us, this award recognising the technological excellence of the KNAUS BOXDRIVE
marks an important milestone in our growth strategy. The Asian market in particular promises
exciting opportunities for future development and the reinforcement of economic cooperation
for a particularly innovative producer such as Knaus Tabbert. We are therefore very pleased
to welcome Her Excellency Datin Paduka Dr Adina Kamarudin, the Malaysian Ambassador to
Germany. We consider it an extraordinary honour that she has personally presented us with
this award at this year’s Knaus Tabbert dealer conference, and see it as a strong sign for the
future development of our activity in Malaysia.”
