ADAC GT Masters: “Knaus Raptor” from the HTP WINWARD Motorsport team reaching for the victory together

Jandelsbrunn/Altendiez. KNAUS motorhomes and caravans are not only a familiar sight in the paddocks or visitor areas of major motorsports events, KNAUS can also be seen on the race tracks: At last year’s ADAC TOTAL 24-hour race, Fabian Vettel, the younger brother of Formula-One star Sebastian Vettel, Luca Ludwig and Philip Ellis recorded top times on the track in a car with KNAUS branding and achieved an outstanding sixth place overall in the 24-hour race on the Nürburgrin.

In 2020, Munich-based Ellis (27), an established name in the motorsport scene for about ten years now, will be back on the track. The HTP WINWARD Motorsport team will field two Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo at the ADAC GT Masters, one of which is a real KNAUS: Race number 48 is called “Raptor” and represents the Lower Bavarian manufacturer of leisure vehicles also in the classic blue and white colour scheme including matching KNAUS wordmark, logo and brand claims on its aerodynamic body. Philip Ellis and the Italian Raffaele Marciello (25) will take turns at the steering wheel of the mobile bird of prey hungry for victory. As last year, Maximilian Götz (33, Uffenheim) and Indy Dontje (27, Netherlands) will be piloting the sister car, the Yellow Mamba with number 47 in the yellow-green MANN-FILTER design.

The entire team at Knaus Tabbert will be cheering when the KNAUS Raptor will be entering the race for the first time in the “League of Super Sports Cars“.
