THE NEW CRUISER 2.0: COMFORT, DESIGN, AND INNOVATION

A joint project hits the road. In the fall of 2022, recreational vehicle manufacturer LMC Caravan GmbH & Co.KG invited enthusiastic campers to participate in the revamp of the Cruiser motorhome series. LMC’s focus was to directly incorporate the wishes of end customers into the development. The 18-member workshop team collaboratively worked on concepts for “sitting,” “bathroom,” “sleeping and storage,” and “kitchen.” Over 90 ideas were generated and examined for inclusion in the specifications.

With pride, LMC, together with the workshop team, can show that the new Cruiser 2.0 is a vehicle that
sets new staards in living comfort, functionality, and design. Every detail was developed with the aim
of making mobile life more pleasant, stylish, and comfortable, keeping the camper in mind.

Rethought comfort – restful sleep on vacation

A new sleeping system with individually adjustable EvoPoreHRC 2030 mattress and plate spring slatted
frame ensures perfect lying comfort. The option to convert the single beds into a double bed is
available. Thanks to generous headroom, sitting upright in bed is effortlessly possible. The newly
designed backrests can be flexibly adjusted in angle – ideal for reading, relaxing, or streaming.

Homeliness you can see and feel

The use of high-quality felt coverings not only creates an acoustically pleasant environment but also
ensures a homely atmosphere. Harmoniously integrated indirect lighting enhances the feel-good
ambiance. The interior appears classically elegant through new decors. Plenty of storage space,
practical shelves, and USB charging stations round off the overall concept.

Kitchen enjoyment on the go – well thought out to the last detail

Innovation is also evident in the kitchen: a semi-high appliance cabinet with a pull-out offers space for
a coffee machine, toaster, and more – including two integrated sockets, so everything remains ready
for use (depending on layout). A modern combo cooktop with two gas burners and one induction plate
provides flexibility when cooking. The recessed sink is equipped with a clever Frankfurt board that
serves as a cutting and serving surface. A fixture with a bracket for the two gastro containers, for
example, ingredients or waste, facilitates work during preparation. The board extends the kitchen work
surface through its pull-out function (depending on layout). Generous soft-close drawers, anti-slip mats
in wall cabinets and drawers, and illuminated drawers show: comfort and functionality go hand in
hand.

Seating area & living space – space for enjoyment

The standard seating area is designed for use by two people and comes without a seatbelt system for
additional seats – this allows for a particularly spacious, lounge-like design with a large table. The
vehicle is designed for two-person use. If desired, two additional seatbelt places can be optionally
configured. The clever seatbelt system can be adjusted in height, so the backrest can be lowered after
the ride – for optimal seating comfort while living. The largest panoramic window LMC has ever
installed, a 32-inch TV spot, and homely lighting invite you to stay – whether alone or with guests.
Multifunctional bathroom & well-thought-out storage space
In the compact bathroom, a swivel wall provides a full shower area. The modern design still offers
ample storage space for personal care products. The decision for a bench toilet (depending on layout)
reduces hard-to-clean corners – hygienic and practical at the same time. Optimal storage space under
the bed: wardrobe with hanging function and additional drawers in various sizes for laundry and small
items.

Exterior & technology – striking and special

The exterior color in noble gray deliberately stands out and underscores the vehicle’s design claim. The
front of the body has been equipped with a position light that shows its particularly striking face in the
dark. This unique light across the entire vehicle width is a real eye-catcher with recognition value and
uniqueness. The integrated rear gives the Cruiser 2.0 a completely new and high-quality liner look. The
Bridgelight elegantly connects the two rear lights. The garage doors, as well as the body door, are
equipped with gas pressure dampers and integrated into the central locking – everything can be
conveniently operated at the push of a button.
Equipped with the LMC Home App, the levels of the individual tanks, as well as the heating, air
conditioning, satellite system, refrigerator, and much more, can be controlled and monitored. The
vehicle is thus networked with the camper and remotely controllable. If desired, the camper always
keeps an overview of his mobile home. The control panel of the System Control Unit is discreetly
placed above the entrance door and can be easily and intuitively operated via the touch field and the
app.
