Teleco does it again: Ultra Comfort 8000 Steril Air Pro air conditioner wins the European Innovation Award 2026
For the second year in a row, the Italian company takes the top spot in Stuttgart, triumphing in the “Vehicle Equipment” category
Following its outstanding success in 2025, Teleco once again confirms its position as a leading innovator in the caravanning sector, by winning the prestigious European Innovation Award 2026 at the CMT trade show in Stuttgart with its new Ultra Comfort 8000 Steril Air Pro air conditioner.
Promoted by German publishing house DoldeMedien Verlag, the award is chosen by an international jury of experts, journalists, and influencers who assess the most innovative solutions capable of delivering tangible improvements to the travel experience.
The Ultra Comfort 8000 Steril Air Pro represents a technological evolution that goes beyond simple cooling. The true breakthrough of this model is the integration of the patented Steril Air Pro system, a UV-A LED technology that sanitizes the environment by eliminating up to 99.9 per cent of viruses, bacteria, and organic pollutants, ensuring clean air in complete safety for passengers and pets.
“Receiving this award for the second consecutive year is extraordinary confirmation of the strength of our strategic vision,” said Vittorio Simioli, one of the owners of the Teleco Group.
“With the Ultra Comfort 6000, we challenged the long-standing assumption that camper vans require roof installation; with the new Ultra Comfort 8000 Steril Air Pro, we wanted to take an additional step by integrating the concept of deeper wellbeing and health safety. All-season comfort – Thanks to 230V heat pump technology, the unit delivers high performance in both cooling and heating modes. Installation versatility – Designed for camper vans, low-profiles, and overcabs up to 8 meters, with an air diffuser positioned under the dashboard for optimal distribution without taking up interior space. With this latest achievement, Teleco reinforces its role as a technological leader in the European market. The award ceremony took place on 18 January 2026 at the Stuttgart exhibition center, rubber-stamping Teleco as a benchmark for “Made in Italy” excellence in the recreational vehicle market. |
