CARAVAN SALON 2025: Two major events on the second weekend

Event density requires early planning – parking only possible with reservation

On the second weekend of the CARAVAN SALON, two major events with a large audience will take place in the north of Düsseldorf. From Friday to Sunday, 5 to 7 September 2025, the area around the exhibition grounds will be particularly lively. In addition to the world’s largest trade fair for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and accessories, a series of concerts will take place in the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA.

“We are looking forward to welcoming numerous caravanning fans from Germany and abroad to Düsseldorf. At the same time, D.LIVE will also be welcoming many music entusiasts to the Ed Sheeran concerts on the same weekend. This means a full programme in Düsseldorf – and experience has shown that there will be an increased volume of traffic around the exhibition grounds. This makes it all the more important to plan your journey well,” says Michael Degen, Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf.

Important for all visitors travelling by car: Use of the exhibition car parks from Friday to Sunday (5 to 7 September) is only possible with a pre-booked parking reservation. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee access to the car park without a confirmed reservation.

We recommend that guests without a car park ticket travel by public transport. Additional journeys, extended operating times and special lines have been organised for the event weekend – ideal for a comfortable and stress-free journey to and from the event.

Trade fair visitors should note that there may be delays when leaving the exhibition centre, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours, due to the arrival of concert visitors. The CARAVAN SALON team asks for your understanding and recommends that you allow a little more time for the return journey. Our guests should organise their journey in good time and check the car park booking or the current traffic situation in advance.

• Bus 722: Messe Ost or Messe Süd / CCD
• Time from Düsseldorf Central Station: approx. 15 minutes

The Park & Ride facilities in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area also offer a convenient combination of car and public transport. Use of the P+R car parks is free of charge. The following ticket levels apply for onward journeys: Price level A (within Düsseldorf), B or C (from the surrounding area).
